Roll Back!
We're rolling back to 1.4.2 due to the many bugs in the 1.4.3 pre-release leaving many people unable to play on the server and even their single player games.
To roll back, click the options tab BEFORE you log in, and click "force update"

New Server!
Thats right! I bought the new server today and it's up and running. I'm moving all the files over at 6pm today so anything changed to the old server after that point will not move to the new one. I will let the old server run til the host takes it down, so have fun and run amok.

PvP night and future events!
Well I gotta say that our little game of Capture the Cloth tonight was a lot of fun! Thanks to everyone who participated in the 4v4 blood bath and I'm open to suggestions to refine/tune the classes and items. It's all about everyone having fun! With that being said, I've started plans for a large, outdoor, natural looking Free For All PvP arena.
What I've been thinking is having the arena enclosed in a mountain biome somewhere surrounded by a circular wall at least 200 blocks in diameter. This battlefield would consist of natural caves, mountains, ruins, a few shacks and other makeshift defensive structures as well as a central tower and traps. Lots of traps. Large enough for ten players to simultaneously hide in the landscape but small enough that conflict is sure to erupt at a moments notice.
Within the arena filled with mobs, traps, and other devious plot turns would be chests. Some hidden, others out in the open, with varying degrees of tools, weapons, blocks, and other items that might otherwise turn the tide of battle. Such as nether brick and a fire starter to make a defensive wall of fire. Another chest would have a sword and healing potions, etc.
You get the point, anyways, I'm looking for suggestions and anyone who would like to contribute to making this arena. Anyone who's skilled with redstone, could make pitfall/lava traps, timed doors, and the like would be excellent. Otherwise I need help forming the landscape and building structures and hiding a decent amount of loot.
